A Sad Day For eGirls News Magazine . . .


Thank you Alan for the very sad news about Jasmine. All of eGirls News Magazine staff hearts and prays go out to the family of a wonderful lady. Jasmine first appeared in our Issue No.3 on page 18 with a photo done by JJ Photography and she again appeared in our Issue No.5 on page 8 by your great photo of her. I remember saying to you how exciting and beautiful a girl she was. Thanks for the information and I will pass it along to others. Ron/Editor

Anyway, I heard over the weekend about the death of my friend Jasmine Grey (aka Michelle Grayshaw). She was in your magazine a couple times, so I thought you would want to know…

1-car crash leaves 3 dead'03 Chevrolet Cavalier went off road, in ditch, into tree, patrol saysBeacon Journal staff reportMEDINA TWP. - Fresh roses, artificial poinsettias and tire tracks through the snow were all that marked the spot Saturday where three friends were killed in a one-car accident.The Medina post of the State Highway Patrol identified the three as Michelle Grayshaw, 21, Brent Birth, 24, and Brian Gerspacher, 25, all of Medina.The patrol reported that Grayshaw was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier south on Foskett Road past Hamilton Road at 2:08 a.m. Saturday when the vehicle went off the left side of the road, slid through a snow-filled ditch and struck a tree.The patrol said there was no additional information and the accident remains under investigation.Grayshaw was a self-employed model and Birth was a bricklayer in his father's masonry business, according to Waite & Son funeral home in Medina, which is handling arrangements for all three.Information about Gerspacher was not available. His family declined comment.All three were graduates of Medina High School, according to the funeral home.Grayshaw leaves her parents, Francis of Medina and Theresa of Seville, sister Christina, brother Joshua, stepsisters Ashley and Lindsey and stepbrother Jeremy.Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Medina.Birth leaves his father, George Birth Sr. of Medina, and mother, Germaine Reutzel of Lodi; sisters Michele Grzybowski and Holly Hensley of Brunswick; and brothers George Jr. of Fort Knox, Ky., Robert of Seville and Chad of Medina.Calling hours for Birth will be 3 to 5 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and services will be at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.Arrangements for Gerspacher are incomplete.
